Sarah Taylor is a Surface Pattern Designer and maker, with a background in Interior design and styling. Sarah opened her studio in the Staffordshire Moorlands in 2013 combining traditional printmaking techniques with contemporary practices such as computer-aided design to create a range of home ware collections.
Sarah's ceramic collections are designed in her studio, the lithographs are screen and digatally printed (depending on the collection) locally in Stoke on Trent and then hand applied and fired in her studio, on to locally sourced fine bone china. The unique home ware collections are perfect for modern contemporary living for all occasions and giftware.
Sarah specialises in Surface Pattern Design for ceramics and home ware. however, the combination of hand generated and digital techniques allow Sarah's design process to have versitility and ensure that it can be commercially viable and applied to a variety of surfaces.
Sarah is available for freelance design work, commissions and collaborations within a variety of creative disciplines.
